An Agricultural Engineer from EARTH University and a Master's Degree in Project Management from the University from International Cooperation, both in Costa Rica.

A born Costa Rican, African by heart and considered herself a citizen of the world. Devoted to Sustainability for the last 19 years, she has dedicated her professional life to implement Good Agricultural Practices, hand in hand with the use of Technology, IoT and Data Analysis as an interface between production, conservation and the social aspects of an holistic farming approach.

Adriana has carried out work missions in more than 25 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia and has lived and worked in Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Kenya, Tanzania and United States.

An Agronomist by training with over 15 years’ experience gained in standards from Africa and Europe.

Eric is a Quality Management Systems and Standards Lead Auditor, Trainer and Implementer who strives to promote and uphold Sustainable and Safe Approaches to Agricultural Production and Processing Value Chains through compliance to Good Agricultural Practices, Food Safety and Social Standards. He has had a privilege to work in more than 20 countries across the world. He is passionate about knowledge sharing on practices and lessons learnt in his career journey with keen interest in safe food, soil and water conservation, technology in farming, IoT among other key topics.

He is inspired by the Late Nobel Laureate and Environmentalist Prof. Wangari Mathai’s analogy of the planet’s challenges through the story of the Hummingbird. ‘I will be a Hummingbird, I will do the best I can’

A Biologist and Regional Scientist. His professional experience and competencies are based on biology and ecology of rivers and lakes and the management of their drainage areas and watersheds, regional territorial planning, protected areas management and analysis of spatial development on landscape base.

He supported Synergies between international environmental conventions on climate change, desertification and biodiversity and their implementation on regional level for complementary development policies and strategies. He has supported capacity development of institutions and organizations of Public and Private Sector for Implementation Processes on Sustainability Strategies and Agreements including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Robert had worked as Integrated expert by CIM, Project Manager and Program Director by GIZ, UNOPS,RUTA, or consultant for various agencies like US-AID, GITEC, EIB, IDB among others in different countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He has founded recently another private company, Design for Development (D4D). Currently he is developing a modular wood house concept for social housing in the tropics.

Gianluca Gondolini, Italian national, is an environmental agronomist and development professional with 28 years specialized experience in the development and management of humanitarian and rural development projects and policies in over 40 countries in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean Small Island Developing States.

His areas of technical expertise include climate change adaptation and mitigation, livelihoods’ resilience-building, biodiversity and natural resources conservation, food and nutrition security, sustainable agriculture and forest management, integrated land-use planning and management, and disaster risk reduction.

He has been working for over a decade with United Nations Agencies (FAO, WFP and IFAD) in different technical and managerial assignments both at HQ and in field locations.
